Aloha and Welcome!
My name is Fiona Hayashi and I’m so glad you are here.
Choosing someone to talk to about your innermost struggles and fears is not an easy task. Trusting someone with you and your family’s wellbeing is a very important decision, so I appreciate that you are considering me as your therapist.
It is my belief that you have within you the necessary strength and resilience to make the changes you desire. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you and guide you in your journey towards becoming the person you wish to be.
I was born and raised in the beautiful islands of Aotearoa/New Zealand and have lived and worked in Hawai’i since 2001. I have been fortunate enough to have also lived in Canada, Japan and England. My journey to become a therapist began when I was in high school. As a young teen, I wished for someone to talk to about the challenges of growing up, thus it became my life goal to be a therapist. I am a licensed in the state of Hawaii as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and am also a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I am a single mother and co-parent of two wonderful boys and a passionate advocate for young girls, teens, mothers, and co-parenting families. I have a special interest in maternal mental health, teen girls, divorce and co-parenting.
For your convenience, I offer Saturday and Sunday appointments. My office is located on North Nimitz Highway and there is free parking.
Call me today and let’s get started on your journey to growth and resilience.
